If Olympics were tomorrow… (5)

We reached the end of our project: here are the hypothetical rankings of the season, according to the scores received by the athletes participating at Skate America, Skate Canada, Cup of China, NHK Trophy, Trophée Eric Bompard and Rostelecom Cup. At the end of the week, at the Grand Prix Final in Fukuoka, we’ll see if some of these rankings transfer themselves into the official rankings of the event.

After 2013 Rostelecom Cup, few changes happened in the rankings: Carolina Kostner entered the Top 6 of the ladies (replacing Adelina Sotnikova; on the other hand, given her placement at the Grand Prix events of the season, third at Cup of China and second at Rostelecom Cup, the Italian hasn’t earned a place at the Grand Prix Final in Fukuoka), Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy remained on the third place in the pairs’ ranking, but with a bigger score (206.33 points at Rostelecom Cup vs. 201.21 points at Cup of China), and Vera Bazarova and Yuri Larionov entered this hypothetical ranking on the fourth place.
