Let me tell you just that: Tomas Verner was definitely the life of the party on October 7th, having a blast during both rehearsals and show in Bucharest, at Sala Polivalenta. This was Tomas’ first visit in Romania – and the audience will surely remember the young man in pink shirt, black wig and golden, sparkling shorts, skating so very convincingly on “I’m sexy and I know it”. Truly the sensation of the night, abandoning the skates for a pair of sneakers, Tomas showed up in the arena when you least expected, climbing the stairs and dancing in the middle of the crowd, running and laughing, to the delight of a very enthusiastic Romanian public. Just look at the pictures, multiply by a hundred – and you’ll understand the euphoria stirred by Mr. Verner in Bucharest, at Kings on Ice Olympic Gala.

The Romanian audience is definitely a lucky one: Tomas skated in Bucharest his wonderful short program from the Olympic season, “Dueling Banjos”

…and as if it wasn’t enough, during the performance of Alexander Liubchenko and Jean-Denis Sanchis, Tomas shows up again in the arena, to the amusement of the audience
