With the dancers taking the ice today for their short dance [at 19:05 local time], it might be a good idea to see some glimpses from their practice on December 10th. As you’ll see for yourselves, some decided to practice their short dances, whilst others focused on their free programs. All in all, there’s beauty, there’s color – and a strong sense of anticipation as regards the dancers’ performances at this year’s edition of the Grand Prix Final, hosted, once again, by the city of Barcelona.
Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, with their (presumably) new costumes for the free dance. Will they wear them? We will see that tomorrow, on December 12.
Madison Chock and Evan Bates skated their short dance at yesterday’s practice – a jewel of a program, to Andrea Bocelli’s “More” and Il Divo’s version of “Unchained Melody”
The Canadians Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje decided to focus on their free dance at yesterday’s practice; this season, they skate to Max Richter’s “On the Nature of Daylight” and Ludovico Einaudi’s “Walk” and “Run”
Italy’s Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte chose to skate their free dance at yersterday’s practice – a program set to Fellini medley
