This is exactly what it says it is: a photo-journey through the layers of this year’s edition of Lombardia Trophy in Italy.
Being one of the first events of the senior season – the second Challenger, after U.S. Classic in Lake Placid –, it’s only natural that, in the middle of September, eyes are all set on IceLab in Bergamo and the athletes coming here to skate their programs for the first time in a competitive environment, and have a feedback from both the judges and the audience.
The importance of a first competition is huge, no doubt about it – and so is the interest in it.
And so allow us to show you, through pictures, how it was. But more then that, get acquainted with the new programs, new music, new choreographies, the skaters’ goals and aspirations for the season.
Hear them out – and then enjoy the photos.
